Roy Steele, award-winning handicapper takes a look at a nice wagering card today in up State New York.

Four 2yo races on tap, which are always interesting at this meet. No shortage of investment in this young racing bloodstock. Two Graded Stakes races The Adirondack G2 and The Fourstardave G1 dirt and turf.

Weather could play a part will be tweeting with updates...thunderstorms are expected.

No Wunder - 20/1: Comes into this race in excellent form. Trainer Elizabeth Voss is known for her Steeplechase endevours but is having a good meet here. Well bred for the turf has stamina and will relish the mile and being on the rail. Love the price acts in the mud.

Designed For War - 12/1: 4yo has won on this track for Todd Pletcher last year. Now in the Arnold barn trainng very well in the morning here.. love the price.

Coal Port - 5/2: Was claimed here last month runs for and trained by Jacobson nice bank account, been around the block dont dismiss.

Race 7

Inheritance - 9/2: Sharp 2yo filly drops back to 7f distance which will suit her ..can be devestating if it all comes together picks up top jock Ortiz. 1.9 Million Tapit gal.

Malibu Stacy - 5/2: most experienced gal in the race just missed in last a stakes affair at Belmont.

Lady Constance - 8/1: Tough competitor prefers on the front but can come off the pace.

Race 8

Converge - 9/5: This 3yo colt doesnt know how to run a bad race for Chad Brown. Castellano looking to improve his record adding of shades will be the difference.

Dream Doctor - 8/1: 5yo gelding although is lightly raced turf specialist was bounced around in last 40k claimer will like todays race conditions.

Sanctify - 8/1: Trainer Mott is hitting the winning circle and this gal loves this track and at this distance and surface.

Race 9

Silvertoni - 3/1: G2 on the dirt for 2yo fillies. This gal ran in a G2 at the Royal Ascot meet in the UK back in June. Ward specializes in this kind of race has an unbeaten record on AMerican soil.

Libby's Tail - 2/1: Coming off a racing debut win in last Ortiz sticks with her... barn is in fine shape only 6 runners cannot be dismissed.

Ever So Clever - 5/2: Assmussen filly who who won on the bridle in her debut gets the assistance of leading jock Johnny V.

Race 10

Grand Arch - 8/1: Australian trainer Lynch was suspended by the NYRA and had to switch this gal over to the Cotterill barn now back and has taken over the training of this talented gal. The Hills are sending more and more prime stock to this barn. Owns the second highest Beyer which was posted at this track when winning a G2.

Tourist - 5/2: Comes in from Santa Anita for Mott just missed the prize in the G1 Shoemaker looks to be in fine form.

Force The Pass - 8/1: Not out the frame in last ten races versitlie gal off the front on the front has a super turn of foot.

Race 11

Slapstick - 3/1: 40k mdn for the Night Cap. drops in distance which will help. Barn is flying at the moment.

Not So Quiet Man - 8/1: Second race of the meet ran a cracker in last comes from off the pace.

Priest N The Rabbi - 5/1: Kittens Joy 4yo gelding running off the claim now in Amussen's care drops back to sprinting.
