Roy Steele - www.horsewhisperereusa.com is focused on the evening card at Woodbine .... the season is winding down but still some good racing on offer.

Last Sunday's card was abandoned half way thru due to the weather, snow, wind you name it.... made it too dangerous to compete in.

We should be ok this evening although it will be Cold Cold Cold.

No carryovers to speak off but the Pick 4/5 are seeded 50k/100k.

All exotics have a 20 cent min stake.

The 123Racing Pick 6 kicks off in Race 3 the wagering format that all Handicapping contests apply.

All the major horses have headed to their winter quarters plus Mark Casse has lost nearly a hundred horses out of his barn with the dispersal of Conquest Stables. Although he has the resources to replenish with new stock and owners.

A couple of stakes races left on the calander before we shut down for the winter then the standardbred guys have the track to themselves for the Winter.

We recommend Win top selection each race then box for Ex and Tri with all three selections each race.

Woodbine - Post Time 6:45pm est.

Race 1

My Arch Enemy 2/1: 50k Mdn kicks off the card sprinting on the tapeata all races on the synthetic this evening. 2yo filly is showing promise and looks she could crack the maiden tag this evening Boulanger stays with her for the Casse barn.

Katrina's Way 15/1: Wayward debut couldnt settle gets First Time Lasix tonite which is a favourite angle I use in all handicapping sernarios.

Lookin Perfect 6/1: FTL for Lookin at Lucky filly for high earning barn with top jock Da Silva aboard who is hitting 25% win even at this late stage of the season.

Race 2

Signature Heart 2/1: Another 2yo sprint ... this gelding is held in high regard by all concerned. Back at a reasonable level after trying restricted stakes to no avail. Johnson takes over the reigns.

Dylan 5/2: Well bred by Cape Blanco son of Glileo sire who we have talked about a lot on these blogs and hold in high esteem. Got off to a flyer in debut two back tried in higher grade hit snags in running DANGEROUS.

Red At Last 4/1: Steps up in class after winning 25k maiden has a nice turn of foot which she showed in the closing stages to take the prize by a nose. Watch that tote board barn likes to follow with money when the opportunity arises.

Race 3 Start of 123Racing Pick 6

Mick The Conqueror 2/1: Could be the wager of the evening 3yo who has struggled to break the maiden tag but this looks the ideal spot for him to come thru... 38k earnings this season without a win its now or never on synthetic which he can handle although turf has been his surface of choice.

Into The Future 6/1: Casse 4yo for Tucci stables who have horses with other trainers to. lightly raced stretches out on the Tapeata for the first time.

Big Daddy Bear 8/1: Out of high performing sire who has bred winners for a couple of decades now. comes off the turf but the addition of Contreras is a plus at a price.

Race 4

Kat's Good Scout 10/1: Sprinting over the minium distance throw out the last effort does like the 5f and the synthetic track in this wide open 10k Claimer.

A Bit Of Who Do 3/1: Lightly raced 3yo who is coming to grips with the racing game won a low class maiden but won it well room for improvement.

Nick 'N' Dale 20/1: 6yo who is looking to upset shades come off and does have a capable apprentice aboard gets the start under control and we have a race horse ready to compete.

Race 5

Shot For Shot 4/1: Journeymen over a route for 10k claimng prize. Top jock stays aboard and why not conjoured a win out of this 4yo when all looked to be lost more of the same tonite Da Silva has got to know this guy and exactly when to press the button.

Mighty Quinn 10/1: 6yo who is a good fit for this young apprentice who has yet to record a win the way he rode him last out wont be far away and that 5 pound claiming allowance will be put to good use.

Playmetheblues 9/2: Team Valour/Casse/Husbands combo. short on wins but has won over this distance and surface Casse is finishing the season off with a bang so will definatly make the frame.

Race 6

Regal Mark 2/1: Excellent year only out the frame twice all season has become an accomplished sprinter make the pace or can come off the pace either or.

Court Savvy 5/1: Only second race of the season here after coing in from New York racing. First race was an impressive a win 2 weeks back making all with todays pilot Garcia. OUt of Court Vision who has left his mark in the breeding shed and on the track before returning down south to take up stud duties. competing in Alw company today.

Fortis 15/1: Small barn has a nice veteran here likes the surface distance yet another apprentice up which is good to see in these conditions.

Race 7

Entwistle 15/1: 4yo gelding who has a nice resume on both the turf and synthetic. Claimed by the elder statesman of the Attard family Tino three back gets first time lasix which will help the cause Moreno jumps aboard did a nice bullit inlast recorded work.

Beyond Smart 20/1: 5yo Smart Strike gelding who makes his debut for in form barn off the claim.... he likes the distance will go from the front and gets the rail for assistance.

Big Bazinga 3/1: Takes a big drop in claiming price. Super consistant 5yo who can win on the turf and synthetic only 4th race this season at Woodbine a win 2nd and 3rd so is surely in the mix.

Race 8

Hythe 4/1: 8k Mdn over Mile 1/8th only third race of his carear for this 3yo english Channel gelding getting better each outing. Wont take to much to win this although over an unusual distance for an 8k mdn.

Fo'c'sle 3/1: Named after the pointy end of a ship and this 3yo is looking to be at the pointy end of the race for Mark Casse has struggled this year but huge drop in class and extended route may help.

King of Angels 5/1: The further the better for this 4yo gelding barn has had its normal good year Cambell jumps aboard.
