Roy Steele, International Handicapper, takes in the Woodbine card on a sunny Saturday. Which will make for fast going for the two turf races. Not as fast as the turf at Santa Anita where the Europeans are having trouble with the blazing fractions which are setting the race up for North American closers. Could be a long weekend for the Euros. Woodbine trainer Casse's super filly TEPIN will be looking to finish off a fine season in the BC Mile Race 11.

The pick 5 and Pick 4 are seeded to the tune of 50k and 100k.

20 cent min wagers for all exotics and the Super Hi 5 in the last race has a carryover of $27,263.

Race 5 starts the 123Racing Pick 6. The wager akin to all handicapping comps.

Woodbine - Post Time 1:10pm ET

Race 1

Auction - 5/2: Low end of the claiming ladder this guy drops three fold and comes off the turf acts on the synthetic.

This is The Way - 4/1: Goes back to a level where he can make a mark had a long season.

Cavalletta - 3/1: 7yo mare from a barn that has a runner today at the Breeders Cup normal jock has gone to ride were looking at both ends of the racing spectrum.

Race 2

Brother Pat - 1/1: Has a terrific record on the Tapeata track 4 wins this season 1/1 here at Woodbine. Has the rail which will compliment his running style.

Sombrero de Copa - 5/2: Winning barn who has to be respected with each and every runner. Drops in Alw money stretches out in distance. Getting 2 pounds off above runner for a 2 1/2 length defeat in last. not quite enough.

Sine Metu - 6/1: Slowly dropping in class will get the distance Mile 3/4 for sure.

Race 3

Salsa Bay - 2/1: 40k Claimer right up this guys street. Been knocking on the win door since dropping the maiden tag in May, best last race Beyer The One.

Ninth Symphony - 5/2: Has done well at this level except for not being loaded in last race. Wont be far away.

Chirchahua Signal - 3/1: Has had a good year won 65k. Campbell sticks with him was a length behind the #2 horse in last but is 3 pounds worse off today.

Race 4

Neck of The Moon - 3/1: Restricted stakes over a mile on the turf. 6yo Mare from the barn of yesterdays Breeders Cup winner Chad Brown ships in from Belmont.Garcia takes the reigns turf specialist.

Internal Bourbon - 4/1: Attfield filly who has had a good year misfired on the synthetic in last drops back to a mile.

Generous - Touch 12/ . 3yo who has had a excellent season loses Da Silva though who won 3 times on her. Hernandez is the go to jock at the moment.

Race 5 Start of 123Racing Pick 6

Courtisinsession - 5/2: Doesnt get much lower than this 10k Mdn. Has showed promise compared to the rest of the field barn and jock know how to win.

Beareagle - 3/1: Last race was at this level ran a game race after being bumped will be challenging.

Never Worn - 6/1: Best of the rest knows the track and has come close a couple of times small barn.

Race 6

First Goal - 7/2: 6f Restricted Stakes on the synthetic. Seven runners 3 are from the Mark Casse barn who runs super mare Tepin at the Breeders Cup today. Has hardly put a hoof wrong didnt like the turf but likes making the pace catch me if you can.

Vanish - 6/1: Promising debut will come on a lot for that performance who rides though for trainer Casse?

Dragon's Cry - 3/1: Won The Bull Page last race will be duelling on the front end.

Race 7

Street Cash - 5/2: Classy 4yo running at lowest level only 4 races at Woodbine this year running fresh and on her fav surface turf.

Specialcnsydration - 3/1: Storming finish in 40k claimer in last to win 3yo filly by Artie schiller more to come.

Kentuckiana - 12/1: Still to no win on the turf getting better though fits this race nicely.

Race 8

Moonlit Promise - 6/1: Some race in store in this G3 on the Tapeata which is the defining angle in this race who can handle it best. This 3yo filly has won three times on the surface will get the distance, superbly bred ...can make the pace or come off it with tactical speed, getting weight for age.

Uchenna - 3/1: Casse mare well versed in stakes racing at all grades. Comes off a smart win in last.

Minks - Aprise 5/ . MW Dickinson trained 4yo filly who knows the surface well the trainer invented it. Has won 4 times on the surface last race was a restricted stakes win, ships in.

Race 9

Silent Jimmie - 3/1: Smart debut returns over same distance and Msw level. 2yo gelding looks to kick on.

My Way Tapper - 10/1: Solid connections who debut this guy with lasix Garcia in the irons.

Red Chill - 6/1: Most experienced in the race getting better by the race plus dropping a furlong will help.

Race 10

Enchanting Ally - 3/1: Takes a big drop in claiming price. Will find the class relief will help big time. Campell stays aboard.

Luna D'Avril - 4/1: Yet to get in the groove since being claimed 3 back conditions look good today.

Teatoe - 30/1: 5yo mare who comes in from Fort eireCracked the maiden tag in the summer gets First Time Lasix today which will certainly help.
