ROY STEELE, International Handicapper from www.Horsewhispererusa.com, takes in the Wednesday evening card at Woodbine. Top jock Da Silva takes a break this evening and other top jock Contreras is serving his suspension. Still a competative card.

Weather has been a barmy 75 Degrees although a cold front is moving in with some wind and showers for race time.

Small carryover in the Super Hi 5 wager in the last race (First five home in correct order).

Seeded Pick 5 Race 2 for 50k.

Seeded Pick 4 Race 4 for 100k.

Recommend Win top selection, Then Box all three selections each race for Ex and Tri.

Race 1

Beareagle - 5/2: 10k maiden gets the card underway.4yo although lightly raced, shades go on has been competative tries minium distance this evening.

Best of The Bobs - 3/1: Making his racing debut for in form barn of Norm McKnight goes with lasix.

Canada Wise Don - 8/1: Dedicated front runner 5yo shades come off. its now or never.

Race 2

The Original Scoty - 8/5: Wouldnt you like this horse in your barn never out the frame since going over to the McKnight barn 8yo who is my horse of the year. Moreno takes over the jock duties.

Smooth Stone - 9/5: Will rival above for chalk honours. Been working well since coming in from Presque Isle Downs lack of racing may catch up with him well bred.

Malibu Tide - 9/2: Confirmed route runner now 7yo likes this time of year.

One Pound Sterling - 6/1: A "Quid" as they say in the UK. Steady debut looking for improvement tonite gets lasix and a new jock.

For U Ruth - 3/1: Has had the most runs in this 2yo field drops in price.

Canadian Ranger - 7/2: Improvement in last race young apprentice stays in the plate with a usefull 5 pound claim.

Race 4

Bear Skinned - 3/1: Drops back to a winning level 3yo who has held his form well throughout the season, likes to come with a burst in the final furlong.

Hey Bear - 3/1: Could be a one two punch for Irishman Mike Doyle's barn. Won his last smartly.

Villageofvibank - 8/1: Stormin Norman McKnight has this guy firing and looking for a quick repeat.

Race 5

Mey's Flash - 5/1: Yet another low priced maiden race over 6 1/2 F. Wont take much to win this so give this guy a shot after steady improvement in last race. Gets Lasix and a go to to jock.

Rock River - 5/2: Small outfit who are knocking on the circle door with this 3yo gelding, jock Ryan knows him really well.

Me More - 4/1: Most experienced runner in the race and takes a drop in Mdn Price after a good effort over 6f in last.

Race 6

Hemlock Channel - 2/1: 12k Claimer. This could be a good evening for trainer "Stormin Norm" McKnight this is a live wire who is in form.... fits this level nicely won in his last race with forcing tactics my play of the day.

Snow legacy - 5/1: Takes a drop in price will hit the front out of the gate with this favourable draw .... catch me if you can tactics.

Phils Cocktail - 9/2: Yet to win this season but in the moeny since early July bodes for an exciting race.

Race 7

Conquest Skedaddle - 8/5: Casse and co with another nice 3yo .... they have taken their time with this Scat Daddy 3yo gelding, good effort in last at 71k price now in for 40k Moc.

Gazcader - 8/1: Problems at the start in his last a restricted stakes. Can handle this level no problem first appearance on synthetic this season.

Forest Castle - 3/1: Will miss the guidance of suspended Contreras although Campbell is an able replacement. Likes to dictate things solid connections goes back onto the synthetic surface.

Race 8

Yarmoka - 10/1: Nitecap over 7f at Clm 6250 level. Taking a huge drop in price. Claimed two back down at the Fort comes off the turf has won at a higer level this season and at this distance.

Leading Wild - 5/2: Nice set of Beyers and only out the frame twice in last 18 months. Coming off a win in her last effort and the McKnight juggernaught is in the mix again.

Audre's aces - 6/1: Well bred 4yo filly with 3 straight wins at the start of the season, racing at lowest level.
